This gîte brings together two adjoining places to stay, Saint Jean-Baptiste (n°1251) for 5 people and Chez Etienne (n°1638) for 7, with a connecting door inside and their own separate entrances: 12 people in 4 bedrooms in all. It stands on the Domaine du Château du Jonchy, which has 6 gîtes. In the Beaujolais, close to Villefranche and Lyon, it is very easy to reach. On site, a shared 6 m x 12 m swimming pool heated from 15/05 to 15/09, and a tennis court.
The gîte occupies the first floor of an old renovated house in golden stone, next to the owners' home.
First part (n°1638): living room with an open kitchen, dining area and sitting area. 1 bedroom (one 160 cm double or two singles, + 1 single, an extra single on request), shower room, wc. On the ground floor, reached through a closed outbuilding with a gravel floor, a studio bedroom: 2 single beds that can be joined into one 180 cm double + 1 extra single, shower room with wc, small kitchen corner.
Second part (n°1251), adjoining, with a connecting door between the two living rooms: living room with a kitchen area, 1 bedroom (one double), shower room, wc. On the floor above, 1 attic bedroom (3 single beds) with reversible air conditioning.
Electric heating. Travel cot and changing mat available, high chair and baby bath on request. Outside: a small private garden, a courtyard and a paved terrace, garden furniture, barbecue, reclining chairs, pétanque. Outbuildings available, an open view over the rolling Beaujolais vineyards, shared parking and grounds. The whole estate can be booked for a family gathering, and the 38 m² and 95 m² rooms can be hired.
