The swimming pool
A 6 m x 12 m salt-water pool, shared by the six gîtes, heated to 25 °C from 15 May to 15 September. It is open from 9.30 am to 8 pm; the hours can vary, so do ask us when you arrive. You go in by a set of steps. Hot and cold showers and toilets under our house, open all day. Twelve loungers and six parasols are there for you; bring your own towels.
Safety
The pool is fully fenced. Please close the gate behind you every time. There is no lifeguard: up to the age of 12, children stay under the constant watch of an adult, at the poolside. A child drowns in under three minutes.
A few rules
- Rings and airbeds are welcome, ball games are not: they carry, and the neighbours are close.
- No food and no glass around the pool.
- The pool is for our guests. People invited to a reception who are not sleeping on the estate have no access to it, for safety reasons.
The tennis court
The porous concrete court is included in the rental, as the pool is, and is played by day: it is not floodlit. There is nothing to book. We lend rackets and balls, enough for fun rather than for a serious game. Trainers are essential on this surface.
